Title says it all, here, unless you are filling the role of a sniper, and using a snniper rifle class weapon, you cannot use a ghillie of any sort. So what could a spotter do in this situation?

Oh yeah, here, snipers can only use a 25% ghillie Its the most limited class, they justify it by saying they have the most FPS

So I heard you have to be good in math. For a spotter you have to tell the sniper how to adjust the scope during a game according to wind yes? Like I hear you have to tell him to adjust his scope, to the right, or up etc.
How do you do that?
Is there a math formula or something?

Seeing how I have both a A.E.G. and a Sniper rifle, i'm thinking i'll start being a spotter and letting my friends use my sniper rifle. I was reading some spotter training, I understand what a spotter is. One question i do have is, what equipment should I bring? A red dot scope for my a.e.g.? Should I be carrying my sniper's magazines? Is there a specific binocular I have to use? Any information will help, thanks guys

So today kkeober djstasavich and I went to a skirmish with abunch of dj's lil brother's friends.

The feild consisted of dense pines with some paths inside, a large field and some light hardwood forest.

KK and i disided to become a sniper spotter team with me as spotter as i have the m4 AEG and him with his Well mbo5

and keep in mind that we both only have on marpat bdu suits

So we find a nice lil spot in the dense pine along the edge about 10yards in, and we just layed down and waited.

I personally think both should have a throat-mic and radio for best communications to each other and to the rest of their squad/platoon/team. I've also heard several different sniper/spotter teams say that only the sniper has the radio comms, and the ...

I am all for it because we are very close and there aren't many other people who i would rather have my back in a fire fight. However, I don't even know where to begin as far as spotter training. Any advice?

Also, what is the best spotter gun? Should he go full auto and sacrifice accuracy or go semi and sacrifice ROF?

The way I see it, from originally being a spotter myself (still do it from time to time) and from being a sniper and knowing what I want from a spotter; is as follows:

Responsibilities of a spotter when on the move:

-Being in front of the sniper while stalking, since you have a better close range weapon, is always a good ...
