hey guys,

I've had a few situations lately, where i didnt know what to do.

So, i'll post em here, and please tell me what you would do.

1) You're about to get spotted by an enemy, So, ofcourse you change to a better location. But, you're likely to get spotted when you move; Move, or stay?

2) You're at a great position, near the hot spot. But, for some reason you haven\'t seen anyone yet. Move to a better spot, or wait till people do get there?

3) You can shoot someone of a squad, but you ...

I'm finally getting to go airsofting on Friday so I thought up this little beauty when I saw some spared wood I had.

Basically take a sheet of plywood and paint it olive drab a brown or mix but go out to the area early and with supports nail it up in a tree. Up here we have tree occasionally completely covered in vines so if you do too go to another tree and grab a lot of the vines. Go back to your platform and staple the vines to the sides and bottom and a little on top to give you something ...

Ok after hours spent on youtube, other forums, and practice here is some hints.

General:

Move in slow fluid motions

Stop often and listen

Be stopped more than you go

Use shadows to your advantage. (Ex. If sniping through a window don't just rest your gun on the window sill. Go to the back of the room were there is no light.)

If walking on dead leaves and time isn't an issue, slowly slide the leaves out of the way with your foot. It does make noise but not as much as if you walked ...

What are your techniques for getting in and out of the Hot Zone?

In this thread I am not looking at a DM's role, but that of a pure sniper, meaning that either one or two people are involved.

My techniques have two different styles that we call 'Hard Movement' and 'Soft Movement' Which one we use differs depending on the game type, season (visibility through foliage, noise underfoot etc.) gameplay area size, likelyhood of being detected.

'Hard Movement'

This is one that I primarily ...

When caught up in the role of stalking, it is easy to adopt the mindset that you have an advantage over your prey. Especially in situations where there are few remaining players on the opposing team, and the final act in the game will be to take out those few remaining players. It seems like the simplest thing to do, to walk out in the middle of an open field scanning the treeline with the rest of your squad for the remnants of an almost dead team.

When this happens to you, the best possible ...

In this thread, I will explain to you how to hit your targets with your airsoft sniper rifle.

The core to this is how you zero in your scope. Your target must remain in the centre of your crosshairs at all times. No compensating for distance by aiming above, or wind by aiming to the side. I will now explain how to achieve this.

First you need to set up a target at a distance of, say, 15-20 metres (45-60ft roughly) and then fire at the centre of the target. It is important that yo keep ...
