Everyone feel free to join in and add what you believe works or doesn't work

I have a strong belief in muzzle control, threat recognition, trigger control when working with a team

All of these tie together in a good way.

Muzzle Control. The muzzle is basically the front end of your rifle (again, basically! not specifically) Muzzle control is having control of where your muzzle is pointing.

I need to know some positions or classes for our team, so if you could just list all the positions and what types of guns they need/ what type of skills they need that would be very helpful. I have a G&G GR16 R4, I am decent at seeing people from a long distance, I am bad at cqb but good at medium range, I have a lot of heavy gear (optional) and am good at hiding in great view places. Any suggestions?

Anyways second thing is that these principles are based of a martial art that I train in so I'm trying to convert it into tactics we can use in airsoft. Please excuse me if you think these topics will not work.

Lesson 1 - Positioning

1. Position for mobility.

    • Keep in mind Forward Pressure when in offense.

My friend and i are going to a local field as soon as my broken thumb heals, and the main place we'll be playing is "the kill house", which is a 5000 square foot building which is basically a maze. The objective is for one team to get to the other side of the building and rescue a group of hostages.

Pros of using pistols

- easy to aim

- lightweight

- easy to reload

- most are gas powered

- decent range

the only cons are

- less range than an AEG or spring sniper rifle

- gas may run out

- very limited ammunition ( i don't know anyone who has more than 5 mags for one pistol)

Also, i have trouble finding useful positions to snipe from. I can hit a target at 100+ feet, but i can't find an area that is shadowed with ...

If you've ever watched tournament Xball (you know, with the inflatable bunkers), you've probably seen them playing differently than we do. Here are a basic moves that just might give you the upper hand:

Snapshooting: this is a speedball (paintball) tactic that is to be reckoned with. when many people pop out of cover to fire, they fire a good long burst. This allows you to be hit with enemy fire. But if you pop out just barely, fire one or two rounds, and then get behind cover (all with ...

we have one player who moves quickly, disregarding stealth for faster movement. he's the sort of player who "prefers a straight fight to all this sneaking around", and though he dies fairly often, he's good at keeping the enemy's heads down. His dream setup is a Chicago Typewriter style Thompson with drum mags and lots of inexpensive .20 grams. He's eying the well MP7 as a sidearm, and currently uses an inexpensive Steyr ...

First Off

- Make sure everyone knows there place ( sniper, gunner, decoy ,etc )

- Use what you have...cause its all you got

- Try to fray from leaving spring snipers by themselves or to far away from reinforcements

- DO NOT group together try to keep it around a tight 3 squad

- CHECK YOUR FIRE, you never know who you could be shooting (friendlies, already "dead" players)

Stick by these and a few other rules and just cover each other and it should work out
