well, boots cost a great deal more than knee pads. a good, american-made pair of jungle boots cost about $120. desert boots can be about $140, and paratrooper-style jump boots can be quite a bit, as well.

eh, i don't like to buy used. and it's kinda hard for me to find shoes, because i wear a size 12 and my feet grow fast. i'm really hard on shoes, so it's easier to just buy new.

Good points man (nice to see you've joined the forum by the way) I HAve to admit that CamelBack is great I personally have the same one and love it. your one picture looks as if you camo has different ages to them (different shades of fade) and from expeciance it's a small detail but adds up. I was wondering about the white tape on your mags? Yes white in small amounts should and can be in camoflauge but why? I think your next step would have to be gloves, elbow pads, a paint job for your gun and pads ( I just noticed they don't mix well oh and I suggest having electrical tape on you to cover your tip during battle. awesome through real top notch I personally don't have any lightwieght woodland tops (only a jacket) so I use an Olive drab sweatshirt that really does work just as well.

What's going on? But anyway, i started out using workboots worked great until i came across a swamp and yeah NOT waterproof, then eventually upgraded to a semi- waterproofed one which worked good but didn't have enough hieght to it so it was also useless for the swamp. So FINALLY my current BOOT(s) are a decent branded waterproof, with just enough height to get me through the swamps of Northern Jersey, all and all good stuff.

Sorry, you know I kid. I've already proven to be... unsavory... in forums. But CheaperThanDirt had some great stuff for a decent price. |

yeah, CTD is great! i've ordered a few things from them before. i was considering buying an Israeli M15 Gas Mask from them, but i've decided I want to go with the British S10 Gas Mask when i get enough money. (they're ranked the best in the world!)
