 WE tech = illegal?

I heard something from a friend of mine that WE techs are now not being shipped to the u.s. anymore.
They are still legal. But now it is just illegal to ship them to the U.S.
This is most likely all due that giant act of \"Watch your language\" by ATF and their little "scandal"

Well I could definitely see WE gas blowbacks being construed as weapons.
I mean, they are much more realistic then an AEG. It would take a trained eye to know the different really.

However I am sure if a WE tech fired a single round of live .223 it would be the last thing it ever did.

...deadly to the user if he/she used a magnum load.

I have been seeing a few things that back up what your friend is saying, namely most WETTIs being out of stock in US Markets. I think this is just a normal thing though, just like what we saw with JG a few months back. WETTI's having a bit of trouble keeping up with demand is all.

the guns themselves will not be illegal. it will just be illegal to import them.
