| Our spud launcher shoots grape shot...its fun now that turret dude on the vehicle is not a easy target because your going to have the vehicle moving with him focusing mainly on shooting you. However some vehicles, like the one in my design (see earlier threads) puts the gunner inside of the vehicle with a remote controlled turret.
Now imagine that with a 200 hp generator w/ DC transformer and a 200 lb ammo dump. |

| Well I am not an Engineer , so I can't give you anything precise , such as , measurements and such , but it fires but taping up an empty roll of toliet paper filled with bbs , and set on top of a rather large explosive , again can't be precise on what kind , but you aim it by titlting it on a board , then setting the other end on another board , it is rather hard to describe online , so I will get a picture up here soon . _________________ The Sniper Of Airsoft , Unseen , Unheard , Underappriciated . . Right on Slob! I would say a Minigun, like everybody else says, is useless. But Slob, you mentioned an Airsoft RPG. Is that the one $1,200 one on RedWolf? how does that thing work?? _________________ Gentleman....(cocks his 1911)...Prepare to defend yourselves!!!

| I think for people to use mini guns practicaly the airsoft field should buy it just for their use as a mounted weapon in several areas instead of making people buy their own. |

| Hey D-T,
The RPG uses the 40mm grenade to launch the warhead, the best ones that I have seen use a NERF ( Foam Rubber ) warhead, flat and stable flight. These things need alot of practice to be used effectivly on the Field. I have to admit, the expression on the drivers face when you jump up with one of these things is almost worth the Price, almost.
@djstasevich,
It is a good idea that Fields buy them because of the extreme cost, but since most of the M134īs on the market are shooting in the 4 Joule ( some alot stronger, 7 Joules ) range, I highly doubt that the Fields that do have them would allow them to be used or rented buy the General Public, all you would need is to have some jerk behind the trigger, and you are going to have somebody in the Hospital. |

| Joules is actually an energy measurement. FPS is a velocity measurement.
But for the sake of not going into a page of science during a break from school, heres the simple conversion.
7 Joules = 868 FPS. But again Joules is and energy unit, FPS is a velocity unit. So you could also have a 7 joule rifle roughly shooting at 400FPS with .88G BB's. This is why I think we should move to a Joule based measurement fr airsoft then we could just use low impact rounds combined with high FPS to achieve a very high range.

| Good Explanation Sticks,
Donīt forget that all Joule mesurements are based on 0,20g BBīs unless stated diffrently.
1 Joule is 328 FPS 4 Joule is 454 FPS 7 Joule is roughly 868 FPS
all mesurements .20g BBīs If you use higher weights then the numbers would be completly different, Example 0.43g BBīs
1 Joule is 223 FPS 4 Joule is 447 FPS 7 Joule is 591 FPS
This is the reason why most fields measure gun power and energy with .20g BBīs before the start of a Game, imagine how it would go if a player showed up at an event, Chronīs with his/her own BBīs and lieīs about the weight. |
